Privacy Policy
Tenasol Summarize. Draft, last updated October 2026.
The short version
Your uploads are never stored. If you make an account, we keep your email address and a few details about it so you can sign in and get a higher daily limit. We email you about Tenasol products only if you ask us to.
What you upload
- The record you upload or paste is read in memory to make the summary and is then discarded. It is never written to disk or kept.
- The summary is held for at most 15 minutes so you can download it, and is deleted as soon as you do.
- Do not upload real patient information. This free tool is for de-identified or synthetic records only.
What we collect
- Without an account: a one-way hash of your network address and the country it is in, used only to count today's free summaries, plus aggregate usage counts (how many summaries, pages and record types).
- With an account: your email address, whether it is verified, how you sign in (for example email and password, or Google), when the account was made and last used, and how many summaries you made today.
- Only if you choose to give them: your name and organization.
- Whether you asked for emails about Tenasol products, and when.
- Passwords are handled by Google Cloud Identity Platform, our sign-in provider. We never see or store them.
Why we use it
- To run your account and apply the daily limits.
- To keep the service working and protect it from abuse.
- Product updates and sales contact, only if you ticked “Email me about Tenasol products”. Using the tool never depends on it.
We don't sell your information.
How long we keep it
- Accounts that haven't been used for 12 months are deleted automatically.
- You can delete your account at any time from your account page; it is deleted straight away, including at our sign-in provider.
- Daily usage counts are reset every day.
Your choices
- Change your name, organization or email preference on your account page.
- Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can withdraw consent from the account page at any time.
- Ask us for a copy of your information, or to correct or delete it, by emailing us.
Who else handles it
The service runs on Google Cloud, which also provides sign-in (Google Cloud Identity Platform). If you sign in with Google, Google tells us your email address and whether it is verified.
The upload page uses Google Analytics to count visits. It sets cookies and records things like the pages you view and your browser. It never receives your record or its summary.
